Joe Ferwerda has been serving as Director of Christian Education at St. John since February 2016. He has been a DCE for over ten years and has served congregations in both Connecticut and Illinois. He has a passion for teaching confirmation, leading youth group, and drama ministry. He enjoys spending time with his wife Julia and their son Corey and daughter Abigail. He enjoys cheering for the Blackhawks, Vikings, and Twins. He also enjoys playing sports like basketball, softball, and golf.
